RTC Serves – Help Feed Hungry Kids

The holiday season is a perfect time to dial back the training, spend time with family – and give back to the RVA community. This year, RTC is leading and funding a food packing event to benefit children and families in Richmond’s East End, many of whom may not have well rounded meals when school is on winter break.
RTC’s goal is to deliver $1,000 worth of food to families in Richmond Public Housing.
We need RTC members’ financial support to make this a success. We’re calling on club members for financial donations, with which the club will make a bulk food purchase, and pack and deliver food bags on Dec 17.
Any donation you make is tax-deductible and has double the impact - the club will match donations by club members, up to $500.  Help us reach our  goal of $1,000!   When making your online donation, please type “RTC” in the tribute field so that RTC will match your donation. Your donation is tax-deductible. Donate now!
Where and When?
RTC is partnering with Peter Paul Development Center (PPDC). We will pack bags of food at PPDC on the morning of 12/17, and families will pick up the bags at PPDC.
Can I donate food?
For this project, your financial contributions are needed most, and volunteers will ensure the funds collected are stretched to buy the most food possible. We’re following a menu of food recommended by PPDC.
Can I volunteer to shop or pack on December 17th?
Absolutely!  We need shoppers and packers.  Volunteer now!
Why Peter Paul Development Center?
PPDC is an organization in the heart of Richmond Public Housing with a focus on youth and families, and has opened its doors to RTC for this project.
